Robert A. Clinton Jr., M.D.

Robert A. Clinton Jr., M.D. is an energetic and compassionate physician, Army veteran, author, and combat sports fight doctor. He grew up in Illinois and Wisconsin before graduating from Morrison Academy in Taiwan. At Wheaton College he was a decathlete and still holds the javelin record — and played semi-pro football as a wide receiver for the National Champions before medical school.
At the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Clinton served as President of the AMA student chapter and Illinois State Delegate for the AMA. Following graduation he moved to Fayetteville as a family medicine physician at Womack Army Medical Center. A 100% service-connected disabled veteran himself, he competes with Team USA in fencing and track and field — with a goal of winning gold at the Paralympics. He has performed more than 30,000 C&P disability exams for organizations including LHI, QTC, and VES, and helps veterans prepare claims that accurately reflect their true disability.
Dr. Clinton is an avid actor and singer who has appeared in films, commercials, and on stage throughout North Carolina. He is the founder of Threshold Arts NC, a professional theatre company bringing high-quality, intimate theatrical experiences to Raleigh, Wilmington, Fayetteville, and beyond. He has four children, enjoys fine dining and dancing with his wife, and is deeply involved in the boxing and MMA community as a fight doctor and former board member of the North Carolina Boxing Commission.
All medical services require patients to be physically located in North Carolina at the time of service.

A Practice That Honors Veterans
Dr. Clinton is a VA-approved provider offering disability evaluations that combine telehealth video visits with in-person physical exams when required by the VA. No existing patient relationship is needed — veterans can come directly for an evaluation.
Patients must be physically located in North Carolina at the time of service. VA disability paperwork and examinations are not covered by insurance.
